Yesterday marked my sister’s graduation from Bond University, due to ticket restrictions I was not able to attend the ceremony, instead I arrived in time take family photos afterwards.

Today marked Grand Final Day on the Gold Coast for the Hockey players of 2010. Starting the day early the Burleigh Thirsty Cherokees took on the Labrador Barbarians at 9.45. The game between the two rivals was tough, each putting in their best efforts. After 70 minutes of thrilling play the Barbarians held strong over the Cherokees winning 4-0.  The competition between both teams had been fierce although the final score didn’t show it, but teams played a great game.
